Celebrated my birthday at Chillies Padi Nonya restaurant on my birthday. Saw on the forum that there are alot of good reviews on this restaurant, so went to try their nonya buffet. Who knows is kind of disappointment. It just doesn't worth the prices i paid, the foods taste super so so only, service not really good, no one actually bothered to top up the foods when the foods was insufficient. And still have 10% service charges. Well, will not go back again.

Have to thanks my Baby for his lovely pressie, AnQi mei mei, Jason & Fulin for the Cakes and My Aunty, Uncle and my Parents for all the Red packets given. Thank you ~

Initially, we still deciding whether to watch "Orphan" or "Where got ghost". I wanted to watch Orphan, while he wanted to watch the other show... In the end, i still win and went to catch the movie "Orphan" yesterday night with my boy.. muahaha

Many frightening scenes that never stop me from jumping out of my seat and covering my eyes, and esther's creepy face and expression really scared the shit outta me..haha. It was not a horror movie but can i say a psychological thriller. Very unexpected and unpredictable ending (watch till the end u will know). I liked it~

Although Peter Sarsgaard (John) and Vera Farmiga as (Kate) hold the fort with steady performances, and the rest of the family also did very good job acting as a family that was broken down and scared by this demonic little girl, and i like the one who acts as the youngest daughter (Max), she is really looks cute and innocent. she is intelligent in the show although she is mute.

But somehow it's young Isabelle Fuhrmann (Esther) who steals the show. Switching from the angelic to outright evil in a beat, Isabelle delivers a mature performance that belies her age. Isabelle Fuhrman (Esther) really does excellent job as a devil-possessed like girl with extremely worrying mental problem that begins to kill everyone one by one. Really hate that Esther in the movie, she is really one evil demon child! *slap slap slap*

Shall not review more on the movie especially the "unpredictable ending"... All i can say is a total pleasant to watch... or disturbing? The amount of blood resulted by the child's act is truly unbelievable. You've got to watch it yourselves. Orphan will leave you with goosebumps after you leave the cinema. Eeeerrrr~

ALLISTER & JACELYN WEDDING

(11 August' 09)

Reach Jacelyn's place at 7.a.m plus, it was suppose to 7am. Girls.. i'm so sorry that i was late, they already started preparing for those game stuffs like half done. Went into her room, Siti was doing her hair-do halfway done and makeup done, my dear girl looked so demure and pretty with her bride gown. "I was wondering how will i look like when i get married.. haha, hoping i look as beautiful too.. muahaha"

Having lotsa fun with Raye, Gina, Vernia, Baoling and Siti, and laughing at those "brothers" playing all those funny funny games; when they drank all those smelly and awful drinking with four different tastes, eating up all those oranges skin, one slices of oranges passing and sharing with all 7 brothers, finding those ribbons we tied throughout the entire block in every level and blar blar blar..

Although is real tiring but this is a kind of happy memorises in future when you think back. After all the tea serving ceremonies, i went back home to take a short nap and prepared myself, while the rest of the sisters followed Jacelyn straight to hotel. They found it troublesome going to and from home. So i be meeting them up at 5pm at the hotel. Their wedding was held at Bugis InterContinental hotel.

After my preparation, i went straight to hotel ballroom to help out baoling & jingyao to choose their first, second march in songs and the cake cutting songs. There are really many many small details to see about. While Jing yao and Baoling are reading their Mcee scripts. I went out to help out the girls to arrange those reception stuffs, it was a real busy night assisting guests to their seats...

And the chosen theme colour for the ballroom was Pink and Black, it was so pretty. Although some elderly and oldies people say no black for wedding!! Come on~ Why so old-fashioned? Not totally in black but is black with some bright colours, that can matches out well. Then why so many peoples are still wearing black for dinner lei, then ask them dun attend the dinner?? I think black is elegant and classy colour anyway.

Other than that, no matter whether is on which bridal shops, which hotel, what kind of bridal gown, and even our house renovation, we will plan and we are still the main decision maker, we will listen to others' opinion, if it is good, we will follow. If not, we will follow back our plan, alright.. "

The hotel ambience is really very nice and classy, with a dash of sophisticated style. All the hotels managers were really very details, friendly and attentive towards the customers' needs, assisting you in every way. The hotel ballroom was beautifully decorated and all colours and everything will be chosen to your liking and is big and spacious enough for many many tables too. The room suit provided was very very cosy and look so nice as well, there are more than 5-8 different choices of "PILLOW" for u to choose on!!! and not to say the bed, when i entered the room and saw the bed, oh gosh; "CAN I Sleep on it please, it just look so comfortable!!" ... haha.

Basically Services there was good but the foods serve is ok too not too bad, with a assessable location even if you dun own a car, it will be convenience if u take a train to a friend's wedding too..

WAH! Am i thinking too far away.. and the hotel did not pay me for advertising, ok. Just that i really think everything i saw that day was Nice or is it due to my super good mood... haha~ I have attended so many wedding, i think this is one of the hotel in singapore i fancy; one of them is Four Season hotel.

Okay!!! Enough of my self-thinking, everything went off well for that night. From morning till night, i think we took over hundreds of photos. Tonnes of photos with the photographers, Many with Vernia - she is still flying at dunno which country and she is not back from her flying yet, have to wait for her to come back to send me those photos. And some with Baoling - so at least i get some of the photos. And their wedding video, i would like to share with all, simply so touching and sweet (is also not with me, have to wait for my girl to come back from honeymoon, then i can upload. )

OMG!! My hand was so tired now after typing so many words...

Updates for 8 August' 2009 (Malaysia trip)

UPDATES FOR 8 AUGUST'2009 (MALAYSIA TRIP ON NATIONAL DAY)

We drove in to Malaysia on 8 August'09, meeting his parents in Seremban (as his parents took train in while we drove in). The whole journey took about 3 hours plus.. Went in to visit his grandparents and attended a dinner there. Quite a smooth trip when we went in, no accidents no jam...

Baby and me drove to KL on the second day to do some shopping, while his parents stayed at his grandparent's place, and went for some sight-seeing... then in the night drove back again for dinner and stayed there till 10 August then we came back. Took lots of photos, but still waiting for his cousin to send me those photos...

Last day - We drove to Johore in the noon with his parents to meet up his aunty for early dinner, but midway, saw some road accident.. that caused traffic jam... So kind of delayed the whole trip, reached Johore at around 8 plus..haiz. By the time, we went back after dinner, we met with some massive traffic jam again!!! AGAIN!!! So we reached Singapore it was like already midnight.. it seems like i was sitting in the car for about 3 quarter of the day.. "Car-sick"! Phew~

When i got off the car, my leg feel bits of numbness and i was totally exhausted and plus i was having sore throat and flu on that day. And imagine my poor Baby that was driving the whole day, i can imagine how tired he was, driving such a long journey..

And Can you imagine the next day, i needed to reach Jacelyn's house by 7am to be her sister on her wedding day, and she is staying at Pasir Ris!!! while mine is at Woodland!!! ~ gosh. But i was lucky enough, my boy was driving me to her place before he went to work.. so nice of him..

Okay... So i shall update those photos soon when i receive~ zzZZzz..........................

Hey peeps... i'm back for some recent updates.

I'm not MIA, alright.. Just busying working. Whenever i reach home, i'm just way too tired-out to switch in my pc ~

Some updates: Currently working as a beautician in a spa. Stressful, Tired and Busy; Working environment - kind of politics ... hmm.. very political~ the problems usually occurs when too many girls are working together. All those gossips and backstabbing.. aiyoz. but still~ lucky enough, there are still nice peoples around and my lovely friends there. So everything is still fine for me...

A special thanks to my baby boy

A big thanks and all the special credits to my precious baby for fetching me from work everyday after my tiring work and fetching me to work whenever he was free. Bringing me for supper every night after my work when i was hungry.. Not once, i heard any complains from him. I really hug him to the max.. Baby, thanks for loving me so much. And I promise I Love you lots too~

For the month of June...

Activity: Paint Balls

We all had a tired, sweaty and painful day after the paint ball. Or maybe we can called it "Pain ball".

Hey No jokes man, it was really painful when the paint ball hits you. I was kind of lucky that it only hits my finger, but it swell and bleed a little immediately when it hits on my poor finger. So can you imagine how great is the impact like~ Some even kena on the back, immediately you can see bruises. And almost passout after hitting some sensor areas... OUCH~

BUT Despite all the injuries we all had on the finger, arm, head, back and on the sensor area like balls ...opp! haha.

We all still enjoyed our day to the max. The day is full of laughter and jokes. It is just lotsa of fun! All i can say it was really a great experience to have.

17 APRIL'2009

Meet up with Sherla at Far east in the noon. Its been so long since i meet her up, after our Cibtec class end. It was really great to see my pon-ten khakis again.. haha.

We had our lunch together, as usual chatty-sessions and went over to Cineleisure to take some neoprints snappie. Great shots. I really love the neo prints we took together.

After that..... meet my boy for dinner at Toa payoh. After dinner, we meet up Henry, Doreen, Brian and Vanessa for our late night movie; The Shinjuku Incident. What a violent show, but overall not bad la!!

After the show, we headed to Newton for our supper. Can see that the crowds there are getting lesser, due to the Tiger prawns incident. Quite a few stores actually closed down. And meanwhile, we guys are planning about the next day event, we are going to the Zoo in the morning and following by Cycling @ East coast park after the Zoo thingy... That is going to be our fun and long day tomorrow.

Some short updates on the Good Friday, 10 April' 2009.

Went to Alvin's grandma house at Malaysia Seremban, together with his parent on Good Friday.

So the day before Good Friday, i stay over at his place. We are driving to Malaysia, so we woke up as early as 4am and set off from his place at around 5am, in order to avoid some heavy traffic Jam due to the public holiday. I think the total journey is about 3 hours. As my stupid boy is driving quite fast~

Alvin and me stayed at his grandma place for around five days. And his parent went back on the Sunday; they just planned to stay for two days.

All i can say Malaysia life; So Relaxing and Slow pace~

On the forth day, my boy and me went over to KL. One of his uncle was staying at KL, so we went for a house visit. And went touring around those new shopping malls.. haha.

Took some neo-prints snap with his cute cousin,; jing yee and jackie and ping guo mei mei. I was quite surprised that their neo prints actually cost much more expensive than what we took in Singapore. And i was quite disappointed in the colour quality of their machine and the printing is abit blur also. All our skin colour look so Yellowish; kind of like poor quality colour.

Overall, even though is a short getaway from Singapore. But i truly enjoy the trip very much. And never really take any pictures there, as this is not the first time i went there. So never took camera along ..

20 MARCH'2009

Meet up with Ester, Rain, Rebecca, Jane, Valerie, Yoi and Fiona for steamboat dinner at Suntec. And went St James Powerhouse after the dinner. After exam celebration ~ haha.

Had a great night with the girls.. And our Miss Rain was really fun to be with. Great clubbing khakis.. haha.

THE FOLLOWING WEEKS....

Catches two movies; Hotel for dogs and Confession of a shopaholic with Brian, Vanessa, Henry, Doreen and My boy. Both are comedy ~ not bad.. Went Ice cube for ice cream as usual. Prawning with the usual 5''s. Took a few snaps. Will post up when upload...

My Boy's Car was kena ''Kissed'' by another BMW car on the road at Thomson. Oh ya... is not just a soft french kiss, but i think is a harsh kissing by a big strong man!!

Shitty ass~ that drunk uncle driver. God bless my boy. Luckily he is safe and sound. Some dented and scratches was found on his precious second wife...

A few updates for the past few weeks.

15 March'09 (Ken & Cindy's wedding)

Wake up at around 7am, and went over my boy's place. His brother Ken's wedding today, so the mum asked me over to help out. I picked the easier task to do.. haha; giving out ang pau lo.

All i can say not easy ar, a real tiring day for the bride and the groom.

Getting married is no small issue, it's a lifelong commitment. You don't want to take any chances. You'd do whatever it takes to make sure the marriage will last, even if it means performing traditional chinese rituals that don't seem to make any sense. Yet, it is often these very rituals that evoke that sense of solemnity befitting such an important step of one's life.

Most of the traditional practices hold some meaning to them like;

Fetching the bride from her house. - the matchmaker accompanies the groom to fetch the bride from her house. When the bridal car arrives at the bride's home, the car door has to be opened by a male member from her family - (that was my bf.. haha). That lucky guy gets an ang pau just for doing that.

Then follow by;

The tea ceremony to the elderly. - As a sign of respect, most couples kneel as they do so to express gratitude for their parents' love. As they serve the tea, gifts of jewellery or ang pau would be presented to them by their relatives. It is a token blessing that is bestowed by senior relatives.

So the whole morning will be going over to the bride house fetch the bride, then come back to the groom's house, tea ceremony, then carried a whole roasted pig back to the bride house again, then after that come back to the groom house again.. wow.. seriously that was like really not easy. So before your wedding day, make sure you had enough rest.

At night, their Wedding dinner was held at Yishun Orchid Country Club. Took some photos with my boy, the rest i need to wait for them to send me before uploaded.

17 - 18 March'09 (Exam Day)

SUPER DUPER Stressful Day!! Sleepless Night Before the Exam Day.

Practical exam on the 17 March'09 and Theory exam on 18 March'09. Luckily i pass my practical exam, or i shall hit my head with the wall using the stress reduction kit.. haha

Practical exam is really so stress, till i almost vomit midway of the exam. The duration is long enough to catch at least 5 korea movies. The exam duration is from 10am till 6pm, and i didn't had any foods on that day, no time at all lo.

And the items and all the stuffs i need to bring for my practical exam is like you can go on a holiday for 3 days 2 night holiday..

Be it is the body procedure and the face procedure, when you are concentrating doing, the most stressful parts came; suddenly the ang mo examiner will pop out from anywhere, and asked you questions. And you are required to answer, as marks are given. Maybe they will fail you for that. And you had to concentrate doing, while answering her questions.

I am so glad that everything is over!!!

A Shameless Gossiper!

Recently my ex-colleague from SK called me to update me on her recent news and she told me some news that made me real MAD! She told me that "Wendy" from my ex-company too, keep spreading some untruth rumours about me and my another friend about the diamond stuffs. We already leave the company for so long, till now you still can talk badmouth about us!!

About this woman here, before i quit that stupid job. Wendy and me once worked together in a jewellery exhibition before, she was that kind of girl, even her own friends she can bad mouth about them, maybe to her mindset, as long as they dunno, she can said whatever things about them.. who will knows. But somehow i had a very bad impression about her; Snatching her own friend's bf, lazy, ass polisher... And what disgust me most, is infront of those friends she once bad-mouth, she can be so good with them, and talks bad about another friends again.. omg~~

And now, she thought i was not in that company, so she can spout rubbish about my friend and me again. Hello~~ i still have alot of friends working in that company too! So do you think i dunno...

How can you say something like that, when you don't even know the truth!! To me, she really had a super big mouth, or can a said a backstabber and a 100% ugly gossiper who made me feel so disgusted.

I'm not afraid of saying your name out, because i have nothing to hide. You are the one who should be feeling ashamed of yourself!!

Initially i intended to call her but i lost her mobile number, so i decided to send her a message in msn; telling her that if she continue spreading those nonsense rumour about me, i will sue her for defamation. I WILL!!

( Maybe some will say why get so bothered about those rumour, but HELLO!! í had done nothing that betray my moral conscience, so i don't like anyone to accuse me for nothing i had done.)

Wendy replied: Someone told me about that~ blar blar blar... I heard others said then i said..

So now what!!! pushing the blame around! F** HER!

Please worry about your own problems, you already had tonnes of problems to solve.. I don't understand why you still had time to spread rumours around! Please la! Went to Janet's Birthday at Tanah merah resort on friday (27 Feb'09), finally a great gathering with my girls (Raye, Jacelyn, Gina, Kristine, Vernia), and all the long lost unseen faces..

On 28 February '09 (Saturday), just attended Baoling ROM at Changi Seaview resort with Jacelyn. Happy to see that her face was filled with happiness and blissfully married to Jin yao.

OS: It seems that i don't really have enough time for myself these few days. I mean my room was so damn messy, doesn't have any spare time to pack up at all.

I was out of my house early in the morning, and came back late almost every night. Seems like i got so many programme suddenly. Examination is round the corner, but i had yet touch on any topics, my brain just freeze when i took out my books and notes.. haiz. Just cannot seems to memorise anything in. Haiz~ Hopeless me..

Haiz.. enough of saying~ Need to turn in early today, as tomorrow i need to go over my boy's place to help out in painting his room.. haha. Good night, pals.

I am very pleased with this place. A real great place with nice ambience to dine in, serving great modern european cuisine.

I like this place and their foods, and what even their ice water - it is nicely sweet scented with slices of strawberries. I will be back for more... Strongly recommended by me.

I cried. I was so touched and move by his will and strength, he is a great source of inspiration . He was just so amazing an incredible man.

In life, sometimes we do takes simple things for granted. Or feeling unsatisfactory in certain areas, tends to give up easily when we met some difficult. But think twice, we are indeed the lucky ones.

Its been really so long since i blog. Really so many many many events, photos, things to update.

All the photos i took since Chinese new year ( that was taken on cruise), Family's New year dinner, My boy's birthday at Villa Bali and Absolute Haven, Oh ya.. and just the past event " Valentine's Day".. my boy brought me to a very nice place "- Rochester. (Baby, thank you for your surprises.)

I just dun have the time to post up all the photos. " (I will post up asap, when i was free enough to shake leg at home then i can post those pic.. haha)"

Hmm... 2009 the 'MOO MOO' year, really not a good year for me. I presume.. So much stress that i was unable to cope mentally. The stress is invisibly drowning me. And i was soo sooo sooooo unlucky to be sick for at least a week since the First day of Chinese new year.. "Not a good sign.. haiz". Not to mention my gamble luck, even on those 50 cents game on the "er shi yi diao" playing with the small kids in my family, can you imagine that i can lost 20 over dollar to them just in half an hour.. omg...

But something great happened to me too, that is ~ Alvin and Me got our very own 'nest' for our future already!! Woo Hoo~~ It was really unexpected, we would be selected for the Marsiling Build-To-Order flat. And we got 13th floor.. **Grinz** So my boy and me are trying our very very best to save money now for our future. So all our dear friends, please dun ask us to any expensive places ok..

And for my Cidesco class; Its been so busy for me. Exam coming, so many thesis, practical, revision and things to do. I doesn't left much time for myself. STRESSFUL February, i hate february.. maybe in coming to March, thats mean exam is COMINNGGGG!!! oh dear~

And plus my Dad was admitted to hospital too, but lucky dad is recovering from his operation - I was happy with that. At least now, he can start consuming foods and can slowly walk around. Hope he can discharge from the hospital soon. The doctor said he might need to stay for another week.. haiz~ So now while preparing for my march exam, most of the time you can see me wandering at the hospital..

Hope EVERYTHING went well for me in coming March.. *Crossing my finger and wishing hard*..
